Join SFTech4Good's New Subscriber Chat 🗣️
A private space for the SFTech4Good network to converse and connect 🎉
Hi, all! Today I’m sending the rare second email of the month. I hope that you all enjoyed the recent holiday if you’re based in the USA or are from the USA. (I think most of us are.)
Why?
Today I’m announcing a brand new addition to my Substack publication: the SFTech4Good subscriber chat.
This is a conversation space in the Substack app that I set up exclusively for newsletter subscribers — kind of like a group chat or live hangout.
I think this is a great space to use for things that come up that are urgent like job openings, events, and other calls to action. I’ll occasionally post short prompts, thoughts, and updates that come my way. You can jump into those discussions or, ideally, start your own!
To join that chat, you’ll need to download the Substack app as messages are sent via the app, not email. You can turn on push notifications so you don’t miss a chance to join the conversation as it happens. TBH, I turn notifications off because we’re all getting more than enough notifications.
How to get started
Download the app by clicking this link or the button below. Chat is only on iOS for now, but per Substack, chat functionality is coming to the Android app soon.
Open the app and tap the Chat icon. It looks like two bubbles in the bottom bar, and you’ll see a row for my chat inside.
That’s it! Jump in to get started, say hi, and if you have any issues, check out Substack’s FAQ.
Code of Conduct
The rules are simple: don’t spam and don’t be a jerk. I will kick you out ASAP if you do either. You’ve been warned.
Come on over, start a thread, and say hello!
